FRIED GREEN MANGOES

Well...they're green until you peel them...








This is an insanely simple recipe! Three ingredients and about 10 minutes is all you need. Fried mangoes can be used as a side dish, pie filling or ice cream topper. Honestly, if you think about it...a person could do quite a bit them!


Ingredients: 



  • 1 peeled mango
  • Sugar in the Raw 
  • Coconut Oil
Yes....it's that simple. 

    Peel and slice mango...


Add coconut oil to a medium-sized skillet....toss in the mangoes and sprinkle with sugar.


I used the sugar in the raw, because again...it caramelizes better. White refined sugar tends to burn and it doesn't get that tacky feel as easily, without burning. 


Sautee the mangoes until golden brown.
